In service design, we often aim to replace an outdated set of paper forms with an easy-to-use digital service. How can we make sure that our new digital forms are accessible?
In this workshop, co-presented with Bukola (Kiki) Jolugbo and Fiona MacNeill, we focused on a specific question to explore the new WCAG 2.1 guidelines (September 23), and see whether the GOV.UK design system could help us.
We then introduced participants to the question protocol for scrutinising and improving every question on any new form so that the form meets user needs, conforms to the WCAG guidelines, and is accessible to everyone.
Thanks to all who took part, to my co-presenters Kiki and Fiona, and to Ladies that UX Brighton for the original workshop that inspired this one.
