My trip to New Zealand ended on a high note, with an invitation from Beryl Plimmer to visit the University of Auckland Computer Science department for a seminar: “The Survey Octopus: An approach to teaching Total Survey Error”.
Thanks to Simone Linz for her help with setting up the seminar, to the members of the Computer Science department and the Statistics department who ensured that we had some lively discussion, and to Alex Payne for taking time to discuss his research on an assistive technology to help people motor control problems, such as those caused by cerebral palsy, to acquire on-screen targets.
For more material on using survey methods see my book, Surveys That Work and additional resources that I’m currently posting to this site.
